My Night Out...

Ok so last Thursday was a right old rush to go out... I had planned to go out with Katie to the Livisage Arms and we agreed to meet at 9pm but arggh i didn't even manage to have a shower and get ready till nearly 8pm so i had an hour to shower, get all made up and dressed and drive 20minutes to Derby... eek! :)

I managed to sort myself out in mega quick time and omg i wore my new top i got from an ebay shop, Its wicked it really makes my hips look big while keeping me looking nice and slim:) yay!

So anyways i got to the pub for 9pm... phew, Katie and Cat arrived fashionably late after nearly doing a parade lap of Derby ring road lol.

So we went into the very packed bar and got some drinks, it was so busy with like a million tgirls that we had to stand, but i'd worn my sexy boots so i didnt mind standing and showing them off a bit lol.

We chatted a bit to Sandi and Tracy and then a had a nice chat to a few girls i'd only ever seen on Roses Forum, I kept calling them celebrities... Well to me they are cos its like i've only ever seen them online and now i got to meet them...wow kewl:) Hiya Nicki B, Hiya Val nice to have met you both:)

Without going into loads of boring details i had a wicked time, i think Katie and Cat did too. we're going to all go out again soon but as the Liversage Arms is closing down, im not sure of anywhere else locally to go:(

Probably do the meeting at the Temple centre again soon.

owch.. owCH... OWWWCCCHHHH!!!

OK so its been nearly a week since i had laser hair removal ... and bloody hell i never had it hurt this bad before.

I was planning to go out tomorrow to see the girls but im not so sure after looking at my face today.. It looks like i've dipped my chin in acid then shaved myself raw then attacked myself with some sandpaper.

Hang on one sec....., im going to attach a piccy of whats left of my face.... er.. on second thoughts after just previewing it its horrible and it makes me feel icky just looking at it...

Does everyone have to go through this? its like im goin thru puberty again lol. i got so many spots its untrue!

So how many peeps saw Leah True on telly last night? I watched it with my gf and we both thought it was good that they didnt try to put a negative spin on the whole thing. It would've been all to easy for C4 to make it all a bit weird but they didnt which is good. I thought it was good to see another girl who is 100% normal in real life, if i'd have seen that programme 10 years ago it wouldve made me realise a lot sooner that dressing means you arent weird.

And i personally think from what i saw on the show, Leah had the most original costume out of them all and should've won that section. ooh... one quick question; Where can i get some of those like sticky bra things that she wore? the ones that pull together for a fake cleavage? I gotta get me some of those:)

Im off to sooth my face with some wire wool now... ttfn

My latest Laser removal experience...

I go to the nottingham Mapperley park clinic and i have had a couple of sessions there so far...

Anyways the first time i had a test patch it didnt really hurt and she ended up doing most of my face with various output powers and i had no discomfort at all and to be honest i even doubted it would even work, like they say "no pain no gain" and all that so i figured nothing would happen but i had loads of hair just drop out a week later so was dead happy, although some bits are really really patchy.

The other day i went and i suggested they "up" the power and she agreed... My original was around 35joules but this new setting was around 45joules and as she explained would "kick me a bit harder"

Ok so this time i really did feel it however i think the general consensus that the top lip is worst is misleading, my neck area was way more painful in fact she backed the power down for my neck.I definately heard a fzzt on every single zap though which i beleive means the hairs are successfully zapped? Afterwards i was a little bit redder than previous and i have gained a few more spots than norm, but i get spot all the time anyway cos im still not totally grown up so it really made no difference.

I decided to do a bit of research on the soprano laser and apparently they are very widely used and to somebody un educated in hair removal like myself the machine seems to be a proper laser with good results most of the time, so i feel reassured that im not wasting my money.

Does anyone else round this way use mapperley park, im happy with the attitudes and professionalism of everybody there but i like to be an informed girl when it comes to spending money:).

On a Different note...

Thanks for all the nice comments about my new hair i keep thanking my gf and its doing her head in i think:) i keep asking questions about how to straighten it and flick it out etc lol she will probably shave my head in the night if im not careful heehee.

look... no wig!

After having to wear a wig for ever everytime i go out i decided a few months ago to let my hair grow longer.... Check out my very short, but girly hairstyle my girfriend did for me yesterday ... What do you reckon? i like it. Its short and seemed pretty easy to do. Does it make me look any less feminine than my usual look?
